64P

64 Pleasant St.

From preserving the past
To powering the future.

CHALLENGE

Where history meets discovery: 64 Pleasant Street in Watertown, MA transforms an early 19th-century mill into a vibrant life science and lab destination. Once a cornerstone of the city’s industrial past, the building now hosts some of the most innovative biotech companies in the region. Our task was to create an identity and design system that bridges past and future — honoring the building’s rich heritage while signaling its role at the forefront of scientific innovation.

CREATIVE SOLUTION

Drawing inspiration from the building’s location along the Charles River Watershed, we blended elements of the natural world with a color palette inspired by dichroic glass and the clean lines of mid-century modern design. Beyond crafting the brand identity and marketing materials, we commissioned custom artwork that pays homage to the building’s history in paper production — weaving a continuous narrative of innovation from past to present across every touchpoint of the brand experience.
