The Year of The Dog.

Colossus rebranded the Boston Calling Music Festival, a massive yearly event featuring mega-bands like Metallica, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Foo Fighters, Rage Against the Machine, Run the Jewels and more. Combining classic “rock and roll kickassery” with a snarky, chip-on-the-shoulder Bostonian mindset. We created a soup-to-nuts, integrated campaign that harkened back to the festival’s roots.

For those about to rock.

A uniquely Boston music festival needs a uniquely Boston identity and voice. We combined the Old World style of historic Boston with nods to Ivy league collegiate style, D.I.Y. punk shows and vintage newspaper printing.
